Choose weights based on your own personal fitness level, capability, and goals. This is not something that we can determine on your behalf.
If you are new to fitness, we recommend you start with lighter weights, like 2, 5, 8.
When completing an exercise, the muscle group you are working out should burn a bit by the last few reps. You should also have perfect form no matter what weight you choose. You can use heavier weights if you are not being challenged enough!
Keep in mind it’s important to challenge yourself and to do it safely. As Erin always says, “what doesn’t challenge you won’t change you!”
